This warm Pear Lung‑Soothing Tea is a classic TCM remedy for nourishing fluids, easing dryness, calming cough, and supporting the Lung’s ability to disperse and descend qi. Pears help moisten dryness, chrysanthemum soothes irritation, and mint opens the sinuses. Adding cinnamon brings a warming, circulating quality — perfect for balancing the cold nature of winter and helping the body stay open and comfortable.

Lung Soothe Pear Tea
INGREDIENTS
1 ripe pear, sliced
8g chrysanthemum flowers
3g mint (fresh or dried)
1 small cinnamon stick or a pinch of ground cinnamon
2–3 cups water
1-2 tsp honey for added moisture and sweetness
INSTRUCTIONS
Add pear slices, chrysanthemum, mint, and cinnamon to a small pot.
Pour in 2–3 cups of water.
Bring to a gentle boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 10–15 minutes.
Strain into a mug and mix with honey.
Sip warm.
Optional: inhale the steam before drinking to soothe dryness and open the sinuses.
