Steamed Pears + Fixings
INGREDIENTS
1. Boiled Version
2 Asian pears
1Β½ tbsp rock sugar (or to taste)
1 tbsp dried goji berries
6β8 dried Chinese dates (jujubes)
1Β½ cups water
2. Steamed Version
2 Asian pears
1Β½ tbsp rock sugar
1 tbsp dried goji berries depth
INSTRUCTIONS
To Boil:
Core and slice pears.
Add pears, rock sugar, goji berries, and dates to a pot with water.
Bring to a boil, then simmer 15β20 minutes.
Serve warm or chilled.
To Steam:
Cut off pear tops, core gently.
Fill with rock sugar + half the goji berries, replace tops.
Place in bowls, sprinkle remaining goji berries around.
Steam ~40 minutes until soft and fragrant.
