Chocolate Drizzled Seed and Fruit Bars

They’re grounding, energizing, and ideal for busy summer schedules, travel, pool days, or season gatherings.

Summer in TCM belongs to the Heart + Small Intestine, the Fire element, and the qualities of heat, joy, circulation, and outward movement. But with Austin’s humidity and long days, it’s easy to feel overheated, depleted, or low‑energy.

These seed bars are the perfect summer support:

  • Seeds (pumpkin, sunflower, sesame) nourish Yin, nourish fluids/digestion and help anchor Heart Fire

  • Oats support the Spleen, which can get taxed by summer Damp

  • Dried fruit tonifies Qi + Blood for sustained stamina

  • Natural sweeteners (honey/maple) moisten dryness from heat
